Both, our Carbon Cloth for Maya plugin, and the Carbon For Houdini plugin allow you to turn on and off writing any Carbon related messages to the output consoles.
In Houdini, it is the Carbon Simulation's "Debug Output" tickbox, and in Maya, it is the Carbon Simulation's "Hide Debug Messages" button.
While we recommend keeping them toggled on, so you get information about the number of nodes in the Simulation, time per simulated frame, etc, we understand that sometimes there might just be too much information and you need to temporarily turn the messages off.

Please note that these toggles do not have any impact on the Carbon Simulation itself. They only control if status messages should be written to the output consoles or not.
These buttons do not deactivate the Carbon Simulation, i.e. the solver will still simulate, just without giving you messages.
If you change the status of the toggles, it will not reset the Simulation either.
